Consent before profiles
Personal details and identifiable photographs require the concerned member’s approval.
Purpose-limited collection
The member form collects information only to build, verify and maintain the WCC archive and website.
Private by default
Telephone numbers, personal email, date of birth and residential address are not published without separate approval.
Controlled access
Form responses and uploaded material are held in Google Forms, Sheets and Drive and are restricted to authorised WCC coordinators and editors.
Editorial review
Member contributions are checked for accuracy, dignity, privacy, image permission and suitability before publication.
Correction and removal
Members may request correction, restriction or removal of their approved personal content through the official form or a nominated WCC editor.
Responsible retention
Submitted material should be retained only while needed for administration, verification and the approved WCC historical archive.
Committee responsibility
Sensitive content, tributes, access decisions and members-only information remain subject to WCC committee direction.

The contribution form includes dedicated consent, accuracy, correction and restriction fields. No submission guarantees publication.
Publication control
Submission does not equal publication approval
Member-submitted information and profile material are published only after the applicable verification, consent and editorial review. Submission of information does not by itself authorise public release. Corrections, restrictions and later member instructions continue to govern publication, and approved content remains subject to WCC Veterans privacy and editorial controls.
